This Longines watch was discontinued a long time ago so perhaps will suit someone who is looking for a super rare watch and unlikely to ever see anyone else wearing. Naturally not too may of these watches have survived so a potential solid long term investment.
The 40mm case diameter would of been been big back in the day but now is seen as the sweet spot for many watch enthusiasts.
The date display is obviously a useful / essential tool for some.
Original box, strap and buckle so a rare find all round.
Just been serviced by a local watchmaker so nothing to do except enjoy !
