Background
This is the first model of the Seiko chronograph.The Seiko Chronograph was first introduced in 1964 for the Tokyo Olympics to showcase the technical achievement of the Japanese watch industry.
The rotating bezel, which acts as an integrator, is made of plastic.
The back cover is engraved with an illustration of the torch.
The single pusher chronograph is operated with the pusher at 2 o’clock. The first push starts the chronograph seconds hand, the second push stops the hand and the third push resets the hand.
The sensible sized case vintage watch at 37.50mm (lug to lug 45mm) is a sweet spot for many users who prefer their watches under 40mm. Slim fitting watch as the thickness is 11.50mm so it will slip under most cuffs.
This is a vintage watch so please be mindful or some very minor imperfections but as you can see from the high resolution photos the watch is in overall VERY good condition.
The new aftermarket tan brown strap strap gives this watch a modern modern twist. However if you prefer a more formal strap or just a change an additional black aftermarket black leather strap is also supplied.
A new CLAM travel pouch will be provided as pictured.
